In the near future, I'll be reviewing this book, authored by Kristin Michaelis, called, Real Food Nutrition & Health. Here's the plug:
Want a curriculum inspired by the same love of wholesome, traditional foods that you find in the cookbook Nourishing Traditions, the work of Weston A. Price, the Slow Food movement, and farmer's markets everywhere? Annoyed with the sub-par Nutrition standards of the USDA and the typical Nutrition textbook?
...You've finally found what you're looking for!
It's written for high school and mature junior high school students and I'm pretty excited about the topic and the author, too, who is a homeschool mom, holistic nutrition coach, and (obviously) a professional writer.
Now I'm off to read, but I'll see you here again and soon. Just wanted to give you something to chew on while I'm away, chewing on this.
Oh, and if you're interested in reading along with me, please consider purchasing Kristin's book through my affiliate banner below. Every little bit helps me stay the course, you know.
I am so excited about this!!! I just finished Animal, Vegetable, Miracle last week, and this would be a good book to start next!
