Go Barefoot in April with Poetry

All through the month of April, we are celebrating the gift of Poetry at Barefoot Books, and I wanted to take a minute to share with you my and my kids' fave, called The Barefoot Book of Classic Poetry, a delightful feast for the ears, eyes, mind and heart:

The Owl and the Pussycat, by Edward Lear

You see!!  I knew there had to be some good reason I was born in April--P  O E T R Y!!

And don't forget to enter my birthday giveaways, going on now and all month long!!  I'll be taking a respite from blogging until Monday, when I'll announce the winner of the $20 Borders gift card!!  Have a very blessed Easter celebration today, this weekend, and every day thereafter, until He returns!!

  1. My husband writes poetry and loves poetry. I too love it and it's been awhile since I've delved into it.

    Thanks for sharing.
