So, this week, in order to celebrate my love for books, I'm offering a $20 Gift Card to Borders, one of the many wonders of the corporate world, and only because Alibris, my home away from home, isn't yet up to speed with the rest of the wily world and its love for all things in plastic carded cash gifts.
For one chance to win, all you have to do is leave a comment, telling me how you would spend this measly gift I'm submitting for your pleasure. For a second chance to win, leave me a second comment declaring you joined my list of Campus Stalkers at right. If you're already following me, just leave a second comment simply stating, "I already stalk you, you silly rabbit," or something like that. That's it.
Oh! but enter before the clock strikes midnight on Saturday (PST)!!
I'll announce the winner next Monday. Since the in-laws will be with us through the weekend, I don't see myself leaving the kitchen much, of course, so this computer or the post office will be entirely out of the question.
Oh! and as far as I know, there are Borders in both the UK and Australia. You see, I really do love my international e-peeps.
Have at it y'all! And happy reading, or listening, or watching, or...
And remember, I'll be giving away A Few of My Favorite Things each and every Monday in April. Keep your eyes peeled and your ear to the ground!
Hi! I just found your blog from Menu Monday. Your title caught my eye! Wasted Textbooks! I am intrigued......I am thinking about switching my dc to textbooks for history and science next year...after 8 years of unit/literature studies......I plan to look around your blog today.
ReplyDeleteIf I won the gift card, I would order a Christian fiction book (for me to read in bed at night after I got all 5 kiddos to bed!)
Have a great day!
If I won, I'd buy...
ReplyDeleteThe Buffalo Knife by William O. Steele for Buttercup
George Rogers Clark: Boy of the NW Frontier by Wilkie for DragonFly
and... for me...
Desiring God by John Piper
I'd go over but hey, that's normal. ;-)
hmmm. i would really love to buy the book, The Heart of Anger by Lou Priolo (i think that is how it is spelled) or DA Carson's For the Love of God. thanks for the giveaway, LL!
ReplyDeleteHow could I just choose one??? I think it would be War and Peace. My brother (15 years my junior) is reading it and needs someone to discuss W&P with. Since I am the homeschooling mother of five wonderful children, it will take more than 2 weeks to read so....

ReplyDeleteWell, what would I do with $20 to spend at Borders??? I'd probably use it to purchase some our Ambleside Year 2 books - or maybe I would grab my latest Borders Coupon and head to the actual store and splurge on one of the beautiful hardback picture books that I NEVER buy 'cause they're just too expensive!
Thanks for this giveaway!
Oh, and I'm already one of your campus stalkers :)
