My First Giveaway!!

I am determined to commemorate my very first bloggy milestone by giving something away to my readers.  I mean, without you, I'd just be talking to myself and that's nothing special--I can do that all day long and in the privacy of my own home.  No, I want to give something--anything--away as a way to say, "Thanx!"  Without you all, and the encouragement I've received through knowing you, I would not continue to write.

I cannot tell a lie.

I would totally still write.

But, I'm giving something away nonetheless.

So here goes: Leave a comment between now and 11:59PM, on Thursday, March 26, 2009, and enter to win a $10 Starbucks gift card ((I could totally milk four drinks out of this one, including a date with my daughter)).  

I'll announce the winner next Friday!!

    Now I am disappointed because it was the cute smile on that gorgeous little boy that made me keep reading ;)

    If only we had a local Starbucks! Sometimes I think all the good things are in America (but I know they are actually here!)

    SO sweet of you to do a give away. I am doing one next Friday the 27th as well to commemorate my blogoversary!
    Happy 100th! I think we also share some in common as I am a SAHM mom to three and plan to HS my son for Kindergarten next year!

    Listen, you did not post a thing about any familial exemptions. So, here I am. And, I will definitely milk the maximum # of drinks out of this should I be so lucky. Although, I would prefer Superman for a week or two over the giftcard. Oh, wait, I have already won that prize.

    Despite being quite a big fan of the odd Starbucks or twenty, I doubt that your voucher would work over here , so let's save it for someone more deserving, eh?

    PS As for Starbucks, I love their cinnamon scrolls, oh, and the 'matcha' green tea smoothies in Japan. Their cappuccinos always hit the spot, and their hot chocolates blow me away. Yum. I think I'll go make a coffee now. (Did I tell you I live for my espresso maker?)

    I am soo excited about the giveaway!! I have been a lurker for quite a while. I have to make a confession however. I don't have any kids!! I was home schooled myself though!! My hubby and I have been married 10 years and I was drawn to your blog because I have just gone back to school to get my teaching degree. I am majoring in Children's lit and I love reading about what you are encouraging your little ones to read! You have ALMOST inspired me to start menu planning too! I know it would help me as I work on my Dave Ramsey plan.. Anyway, Congrats on your posts and I hope to hit that milestone someday!! :)
